I'm Baaack!

Hello friends,

I have no excuse for my three month absence from blogging except that summer completely swept me away with all of it's craziness and adventure. I'm trying desperately to prove my husband wrong, who bet me that I would never keep up with a blog in the midst of my insane schedule.

In a nut shell, my last three months have included shipping my oldest child off to a week at summer camp, riding the waves in the Wisconsin Dells, spending a week in Denver, a weekend camping at Devil's Lake, several days in Springfield (learning more than I cared to know about Abraham Lincoln) playing co-ed softball, and enjoying the theater, all the while taking two classes for my masters and working with Potter's Wheel. It's been a little busier than I'd like.

But I must tell you the highlight of my entire summer was nearly two weeks ago on Cam's birthday. He was turning forty, and I surprised him by taking him (and I) skydiving! It was one of the most exhilarating things I've ever done, and I can't wait to do it again. I would highly recommend it. We came home to 60 people crammed into our home for a surprise party.
